AUTOMATION Expo 2016 in Mumbai between 22nd and 25th August, 2016

We exhibited at the Automation, 2016 and were flattered with the number of visitors and response.

We are very proud to introduce the latest product of CAPTRON Electronic GmbH into the Indian market, a state of the art two-hand control touch switch - safeCAP.

How does the capacitive principle work?

A capacitive sensor measures the capacity between the sensor surface and the surroundings of the sensor. Approaching the SENSORswitch, for example with the hand, increases the capacity and generates an output signal. The sensor generates a field over the sensor area of the switch which is continuously measured. If the capacitive field experience any changes e.g a human hand, the sensor detects the change and triggers a switching process.

Thanks to the water-tight encapsulated electronic system and the weatherproof housing material (poly-carbonate), CAPTRON SENSORswitches are not only smart, they are also extremely reliable with more than 100 Mio. activation cycles possible.

Advantages of using a capacitive two-hand control system:

  • Touch control, no mechanical force required
  • No Strain on wrists
  • Can be activated with or without protection gear
  • More than 100 million switching cycles
  • 100 % Water-, Oil- & Dustproof (IP69K rated)
  • Highly shock-resistant (IK08 rated)
  • Indestructible
  • Contamination control
